Good

• Powers on & 100% functional

• LCD looks perfect; No scratches, cracks or white spots

• Minor cosmetic wear from normal everyday use (No cracks or dents)

• No port issues, QWERTY keyboard & functional battery

Fair

• Powers on & 100% functional

• LCD has minor scratches; NOT cracked

• More significant wear from heavier use, but no cracks in casing

• No port issues, QWERTY keyboard & functional battery

Busted

• DOES NOT power on

• Cracked LCD or heavy scratches

• LCD will not display picture, stays black or white

• Broken hinges or cracks in the casing

• Liquid damage

1. Review the exterior for physical scratches, scuffs, and wear & tear down to bare metal. Also examine for asset tags, laser etchings, or gaps.

2. Review the display for physical cracks or scratches.

3. Power on the MacBook to ensure its startup mode functions properly.

4. Testing the battery:

• Plugin the PowerCord, Power up the MacBook, & ensure that the battery will charge.

5. Open a blank Word doc (or a MacBook app like Notes) to display a blank white screen. “Test the keyboard and trackpad functionality”
